Eurostar have confirmed that they will be running the ‘Eurostar Snow Train’ again for the forthcoming 2026/27 winter season.
What dates will the Eurostar Snow Train operate?
The outbound Eurostar Snow Train from London to the Alps will run every Saturday between 19 December 2026 – 20 February 2027
The inbound return train will run every Sunday between 27 December 2026 – 28 February 2027. There are additional Saturday return services on 26 December, 02 January, 09 January, 20 February and 27 February.
Disappointingly, that is only 9 return weeks – a big downgrade on 2025/26 when sixteen weeks were available.
What days does the Eurostar Snow Train travel to/from France?
The Eurostar Snow Train will continue to depart from London on Satudays. As per 2025/26 – and as noted above – skiers and snowboarders will have the choice to return on a Saturday as well as Sunday on certain dates.
Previously, travellers were obliged to stay for 8 nights, including the final Saturday night, for an early return on the Sunday. This presented a challenge for some people, who either had to stay in Bourg St Maurice on the Saturday night or face an early start on the Sunday morning.
The upside was a 7th day skiing, but Eurostar have realised that this was an issue and have now added an option to return on Saturday as well on five dates only: 26 December, 02 January, 09 January, 20 February and 27 February.
What is the Eurostar Snow train timetable?
The current timetable for the Eurostar Snow Train for 2026/27 is shown below. The exact times might change slightly.
The Snow Train will require change of train at Lille Europe, before stopping at the following stations: Chambéry, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aime-La Plagne, Landry and Bourg-Saint-Maurice

NB: The Eurostar Snow Train is not a direct service
It’s important to note that the train is not direct from London. You need to change in Lille, but this is very simple on the outbound with a 24-minute break and no need to even change platforms.
On the return, passengers need to go through customs, so there is more time between arriving and departing (1h5m on Saturdays and 1h17m on Sundays).
Where does the Eurostar Snow Train stop?
There are multiple stops in France in both directions, giving access to many more resorts, towns and ski regions.
The first stop is Chambery (3h53m from Lille), followed by Albertville (Valmorel, Mégeve, Les Saisies), Moutiers (Les 3 Vallées), Aime (La Plagne, Landry (Vallandry, Peisey) and Bourg St Maurice (Les Arcs, La Rosière, Tignes, Val d’Isère).

Tickets are available from £99 each way in standard class.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for the Eurostar Snow Train went on sale in July.
