We were delighted to read about the ‘new’ second-hand ski gear shop, Antropia, which opened in Aime earlier this year.

Through its network, Antropia collects skiwear such as jackets and ski pants from groups across local ski resorts, to keep clothing in the circular economy.

The ski wear, mostly well-known brands and often nearly new, is rendered ‘neutral’ by having any labels or badges removed by partners One Tree at a Time, before putting them on sale.

Rent second-hand skis

After purchasing an outfit for a fraction of the price of a brand-new one, guests can continue on to Plagne Centre and rent a pair of second-hand skis from Ski Hut.

Ski Hut have taken on top-quality used skis and reconditioned them, before bringing them back into rental use at excellent prices.

One final option for keeping damaged ski wear in the circular economy is to drop it off at Belle Plagne Sports. Instead of throwing it away, their partnership with Goodloop – specialists in the repair and alteration of technical wear – means your items can be prepared for another adventure on the slopes.
