SNCF Voyageurs is strengthening its TGV INOUI service to the Tarentaise Valley by adding 5,000 seats this summer.
The TGV service is being launched as a test to meet the growing demand for mountain travel in the summer.
From 12 July to 10 August 2025, there will be an extra rotation connecting Paris to Bourg-Saint-Maurice every weekend. To fit in with the new schedule, the funicular connecting to Les Arcs will extend its opening hours through to 21:00 on Saturdays, with inter-station shuttles to give access to the different stations.

In addition to the terminus in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the summer service of these TGV INOUI trains will serve the stations of Chambéry Challes-les-Eaux, Albertville, Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne, and Landry.
This joint initiative between SNCF and the commune of Bourg St Maurice is aimed at promoting sustainable travel.
