Transport is responsible for around a third of global emissions and is the biggest part of outdoor sports’ carbon footprint.
The Issue
- We love the outdoors, but too often getting there means cars and planes.
- Transport is one of the biggest drivers of climate change and the largest part of outdoor sports’ footprint.
- Better options exist, but they don’t always work – it’s hard to take gear on trains or buses, tickets can be expensive, routes don’t always connect, and timings rarely fit.
Our Clean Miles Vision
- The cleanest way to reach the places we love should also be the easiest, with public transport that’s affordable, reliable, well-connected, and designed for adventure.
- That means space for bikes, skis, boards, backpacks, and all the gear we need to get outdoors with clean miles.
