We are delighted to see that tour operator Mountain Heaven have announced that they will be offering a 10% discount to all guests arriving by train rather than by plane.
They announced the new offer on their Facebook page on Friday 20 September, to coincide with the global Climate Strike day:
The discount will apply to all new chalet bookings when guests travel by train:
The big issue is that often train fares to the Alps are much more expensive than flights from the UK hence why we are giving a train discount. The other good thing is that the transfers are much shorter – 20 – 30 minutes rather than over 2 hours so less pollution as well!
